Terry Anthony Mitchell, married to Pamela Mitchell for 26 years. We have 4 children and 8 grandchildren. We moved to California from Chicago in Feb. 1989. I am a small business owner in Alameda, and Pamela is an accountant with Livermore Laboratory. We united with the Progressive Community Church in 2007 and currently serve in various ministries. In my position as Sunday School Superintendent and Co-Director of the New Membership Training, I have had the opportunity to learn and further study God’s word, and strengthen my love in teaching. As a former English teacher in the Chicago Public Schools, I have found that teaching Biblical studies is even more challenging and rewarding, as we can truly see the ‘fruits of our labor’. The privilege to learn, teach, and grow through the Progressive family allows us to serve and participate in a community church that is making a difference.
